LendingTree UI/UX Design Internship

For Fall 2020 and Spring 2021, I was a UI/UX Design Intern at LendingTree on the MyLendingTree Mobile team.

Role

As a UI/UX Design Intern, I worked closely with the Creative, Mobile, and Engineering teams in making the financial breakdown flows more intuitive on the MyLendingTree app.

Overview

Part of LendingTree’s mobile experience, MyLendingTree app boasts over 1M+ users with holistic features such as monitoring credit scores, budgeting,, and cash flow projection.

Our team’s goal is simple yet highly personal - building and improving people’s financial health. Working cross-functionally with product and engineering, I created the end-to-end experiences of two features:

PRIMARY PROJECT - UNDER DEVELOPMENT🚀

Credit Factors Redesign

My primary internship project was to create new credit factor pages in the mobile experience, combining the existing dashboard of the MyLendingTree web app. The feature is designed to aid transparent financial projections, detailing the impact of credit factors on credit scores.

Building Transparency

Working alongside cross-functional partners from the design, engineering, and strategy teams, I evaluated existing paradigms and crafted the Credit Factors feature on mobile. Centered on clarity, the feature breaks down factors into trustworthy charts and analysis, offering users a clearer look on their financial health.

SECONDARY PROJECT -

Widget Rearrangement

The current cash flow analysis screen does not allow widget editing capabilities. My challenge was to deliver a concise rearrangement flow from sign-up to in-app experience, where users can easily drag and long-press to keep what’s important to them front-and-center.
